From historic residence halls like Washington Carver, with its stained glass illustration of the anatomy of a peanut to emphasize growth, to the beautiful Copeland, which houses hundreds of Irises to celebrate the beauty of the phenomenal ballerina Misty Copeland, we want GAMU students to know they are safe and at home.
THIS IS YOUR HOME
The safety of our students is of the utmost importance. GAMU’s public safety staff works 24/7, seven days a week to ensure that everyone is kept feeling safe.
WILL WHERE I LIVE?
Each year, students are placed into a lottery where they get to choose their dorms based on seniority. Some students may choose to live off campus as well. GAMU owns apartments and homes just outside of campus. These homes fall in the same price bracket as the cost of room and board.
